Samsung dryer (DV220AEW) Wont start

1 YEAR OLD SAMSUNG DRYER FINISHED A NORMAL LOAD,  ON THE NEXT LOAD IT WONT START.  DIGITAL DISPLAY WORKING NORMALLY.

after replace duct fuse , may want to check vent for lint blockage, or heater shorted to ground.

Remove the TOP COVER of the dryer (2 screws at the rear of the Top Cover---slide cover back an inch or so---lift off)

On the drum---you'll see a BELT. Grasp the BELT---it should be *tight* against the drum.

If not---order a new DRUM BELT and MOTOR PULLEY.

The MOTOR PULLEYS were enlarged from 22mm to 27mm to prevent the BELT from slipping off the IDLER PULLEY if the drum is rotated-by-hand *counterclockwise*.

Check belt and fuse on the blower housing (Small round fuse in left of pic). Then check for blocked air ducts. You may also need to check the thermal cut off fuse on heater housing (in picture on left). My bet is a bad belt. The one I took off of my the other day was only two years old and it was in shreads!

Got it apart today,  belt is fine, all ducts are clear,  had to pull the duct housing that covers the fan to get to the duct fuse as both these parts are mounted on the back of the duct on this dryer. Both of these devices check open with the ohmmeter so i will replace both.  Parts ordered,  will post results.  Thanks for the info.
