SAMSUNG RS21HD side by side freezer temp swing range?

Dear All,

 I have my new RS21HDEIS side by side refrigerator by Samsung for about a week. I put a wireless thermometer in side the freezer and found that while I set it to -16C (3.2F) the actual temp in the freezer swing between -25C (-13F) and -12C (10.4F). All the test done in 10hours with never open the freezer in the test period.

Is this normal? Is it too large swing? Any suggestion?

I just found out that it depend on the ice bucket.
If the ice bucket is not full, the freezer temp will be set to -28C (-18F).
If the ice bucket is full, the freezer temp will be at the user setting.

I don't like this function, Can I disable this? I want my freezer to be set at my preferred temp.
I mean while it still producing ice, not ice off. It may producing at a slower rate, that OK.

how are you measuring these temperatures ?
If your thermometer sensor is just measuring the air temperture,
that's not the correct way to monitor.

I just put the La Crosse wireless thermometer sensor in the freezer, it should measuring only the air in the freezer.
Could you please suggest the correct way to measure it?

maybe put the sensor inside a bag of peas or corn...
Freezer temperature is usually determined by how hard you like your ice cream.
Don't worry about "actual" temperatures
