Icemaker freezing up

I have a Whirlpool refrigerator model no. ET18GMXHW0-1 that the icemaker keeps freezing up at the fill cup.Every two days or so the fill cup will be frozen up and the water cannot get into the icemaker.What cause this?Other than this fill cup freeze up the icemakers work well.I've changed out the icemaker and still freezing up at the fill cup.

It sounds like a slow leak from the fill valve.  A new valve should fix it. 2315576
