Turn the bottom pulley clockwise until it starts to grab, put the tab on the tranny shaft and let it loose. the bottom of the tab will be even with the edge of the pulley. By even it will be even with the high part of the ramp so to speak on the pulley. Hard to describe  when you don't even think about it you just do it after a while.

Apparently whoever put the thing back together put the spin bearing on upside down...not sure who that could be but I am sure it will not be happening again
