Hot point fridge not cooling! freezer is freezing.

Thanks a Million guys the fridge works beautifully now.... 
Im getting ready to post a thread on some dishwashers I am having trouble with.. maybe you guys can jump over there and guide me in the right direction..

You probably have a bad defrost heater on most of them ice boxes. On the stove the eyes probe which illuminates the light is stuck. You change the eye if it is a smooth top. On regular electric stoves the switch is most likely the culprit. If that was the case you remove the wire front switch to indication light and if it goes out you replace that switch. Why not get a hold of somebody to go through these appliances? If you watch what they do then you can take notes. Of course everybody don't like you looking over their shoulder.
