Estate Washer TAWS750PQ2 does not spin unless lid is opened and closed

Estate Washer Model TAWS750PQ2

Customer said the washer does not spin unless they opens the lid to check it and close it again.

Found the timer to be at fault.
Installed new timer part # AP3604425

This happens when the pause goes out on the timers?
