Burnt relay on dryers control board

I have a Frigidaire Dryer model leq1442es0 that stopped heating so i tore it apart. The thermostat, limiter, and thermistor are good and I have a partly melted wire and relay on the control board. Can someone please tell me what could have caused it?

loose connections, caused by excessive vibration, check blower wheel for buildup of lint.

Which wire is it?
What terminal?

It was the red wire going to the heater relay. I just got done cleaning the ducts and blower wheel and they weren't bad at all. If it was a surge can't you something cheap before the control board? Also how about just putting in a new relay? They're under 5 dollars at mouser. I've been searching for information about this for the last few days and all I found is buy a board, and nothing about preventing it. I only found one post about someone replacing it and it worked.  Thank you for your replies.

Change out the relay.
Also check or replace all the wire terminals at the heater.
Loose terminals wll cause the wires to overheat.
Look at and tighten the wire connections at the power supply outlet.

I replaced the relay. The element came on for a few seconds then stopped and never came back on. Going back at it. Anyone have any suggestions?

You tried. It failed. Control board time after all.

Two more things before I get a board. Am I supposed to read any resistance or continuity between the red and red/white going to the contact sensor? I see a transient volt suppressor in parrallel with it. Isn't that a type of resistor? Also what's the point of running #10 to the dryer when everything in the dryer is #14?
