stator motor crack bravos

I got a question I am a hvac guy but enjoy fixing any appliances I can get my hands on, I got a maytag bravos mtw6700tq0 with a stator motor w10419333. I ohmed out the whole control system and everything checked out fine except the rps harness, which could be the sensor or the wire. The stator motor ohmed out fine 29.6 ohms but there is a crack in it. well hooked up the rps harness and sensor.  Motor  got red quick within seconds on spin cycle. You can see the burns on the stator motor where the sensor clips on.  I assumed the motor was dragging because of the crack in stator causing a high amp draw(shut it down before I put ampere on it) anyways now I see on ebay a guy has a motor for sale says it works but I can see a crack in picture. Have I misdiognosed something or is that cracked stator most likely the cause?

Thanks big buck! I am curious though why it happened so quick.  I would think it would draw more as it picked up speed and centrifugal force spread the crack, if that makes any sense.

How old is the washer?

anyways now I see on ebay a guy has a motor for sale says it works but I can see a crack in picture.

The washer is less than five years old I believe dont know exactly though, I buy appliances of craigslist and service, fix and resell.  I dont believe this is a stator motor. Does anyone know how much voltage should be coming out of the motor control board.  I only get voltage out of one line on the p5 terminal, I would think  there should be voltage coming out of all three to the stator motor almost like a three phase motor would be wired. Any help or hints would be great. I am mostly just trying to figure out what makes this machine tick and manual just says replace motor control board.  I want to know what is broken in the motor control board.
