Samsung water guide leaking?

Saw this just now,  a water guide that is leaking.  Mod.  Wf339aaw/xaa.  Part number dc61-01558a on the part comes back as discontinued.  Ive read of some guys silicone to seal the leak but that seems pretty sketchy.  Anyone seen this?

Is that the steam model? If so I believe that part comes with the entire steam kit, sorry I've only seen one of them but I remember the steam kit including everything from the water valves forward.

I'll check into that.  Otherwise samsung maybe in some hot water with consumers

I know it's been a few months but I found this topic while searching for info on the part.
The new part number is DC97-10417A

It's called a Silver Care kit or Water Guide.
Mine is cracked, like a lot of others.  I may try melting the plastic to see if it will seal but the whole part can be removed and bypassed if you don't use the Silver Care feature of the washer.
Just connect the two larger hoses together and block off the smaller one.  Also cover the electrical connectors.

I sealed the cracks with a combination of Super Glue and Baking Powder.
Baking Powder is a catalyst for Super Glue.  The combo gets hot and hardens very quickly.  Great for crack filling in plastic.

I'll give a test run tonight.

Yes it does harden fairly quickly anyway but with the baking powder it almost welds the two parts together and fills the crack.

I will have to try the baking powder trick sometime.
A lot of the time I never have very good luck with super glue, maybe this is the trick I need.

It ain't pretty but it seems to be working.  I just washed a load of laundry with the top off of the washer and didn't get sprayed.   

I know what you mean about Super Glue.  I've never had it hold anything together except my fingers.

I can't recall when I seen one of there ads on tv last.
