Thanks for the tips. Took off the top panel and was able to trace the hose to the"nozzle". Hose was fine but the nozzle was clogged which actually can be cleaned without removing the cover (just stick you're head in the tub and look up behind the gasket and it's right there. Fished the whole line out to make sure and good as new.
Thanks again to all for the help. As an FYI, e-mailed LG customer service and got the following response (four days later). Totally off the mark:
"The Inlet Filters on the back of the Washer will keep any debris or items getting to them that would clog it.
If the Washer is working then it needs Service. It's far more likely the Recirculation Pump is not working over the fact that the nozzle is clogged, in which case you will require Service."
