Maytag Dryer MDE9606AYA Runs but does not heat

Maytag Dryer Model MDE9606AYA


Customer said it would run, but not heat.
In most cases with this type of dryer I find a bad high limit thermostat part # AP4036890 or heating element part # AP4289905.
This time that was not the case.


The connections had come loose on the terminal block part # AP4042340 on the back of the dryer were the dryer cord connect.
The terminal block and the connection on the dryer cord had burnt up.


I replace the terminal block part # AP4042340 and dryer cord part # AP5176321 to repair this dryer.
