Kenmore Side by Side Model 519.58692890

At a loss on this one guys.  Basically, the whole thing is running as it should except the evap fan will shut on and off and when it does spin I noticed that it will sputter a little bit.  Being a kenmore that is made by Amana the frist thing I looked towards was the defrost thermostat, but, it is fine.  The next thing I checked out was the defrost timer and it seems totally fine (however I did run into a little bit of confusion when testing the motor, if someone could clarify the setting on the multi-meter I need to use to test the motor in the defrost timer I would appreciate it) then I went for the start relay and it works fine.  Oh, and I checked the fan as well and it seems okay.  Could it be the cold control?

Would the correct model number then maybe be 596.58692890 instead of 519.58692890
