Maytag dishwasher mdb8600aws - shuts down

Ugh! Any suggestions?  My dishwasher will start a cycle, run until the end of the rinse fill, then completely shut down.  No lights at all.  I can press the cancel button and the machine will drain.  If I push the wash button the wash cycle will start all over.   I replaced the control board and the same thing happened.

Any suggestions?  Could it be the control panel?
