Here's what I have done so far:
1. Checked the breaker box. Switched every one of the breakers off and on at least once.
2. Popped the top and put a jumper cable between from one post of the door switch to the other.
3. Tried jumping what I believe is the "non resettable" (what the service guy on the phone called it) thermostat. But, after looking at a diagram in another website it may have been the high limit thermostat.
4. Read something about a fuse wire (fusable link is what you call them in cars) that could be the culprit. Then the article went on to say that is the fusable link is bad to get a qualified professional to look at it. Bah! I'd rather electocute myself than pay someone else to fix it. (I did manage to shock myself, that was fun. Seriously, you try it, makes you all tingly inside)

If someone could point me in the direction of a good electrical diagram and a troubleshooting chart, I think I'll be okay. I might even try that shocking thing I did yesterday.
