she must have put the seal in wrong, thats terrible, all it needed was a seal, & spend way over buying that frontloader.

She got further than I did. I could not get the 2 bolts off to remove the tub. The real problema was the bottom bearing most likely. I donated that washer to my sister. I put some old motor oil in the bearing and let her drip. She leaves her washer outside on a patio in the back yard. It roars and leaks like hell but she washing clothes 

Talk about going from the frying pan to the fire with the LG (lots of grief), she should have got someone to finish her top loader. She had the hard part done.

I've done at least a hundred of those seal jobs.  I've heard of the problems but have never experienced them myself.  Leave the outer tub in place.  Leave the wash basket attached to the hub and use it as leverage to break the hub loose.  The worst one was where the internal brake in the transmission was broken.  I couldn't spin the wash basket to break it loose because the transmission would spin in both directions.

And then theres this part.........LOL! Yeah my favorite part is when you leave it on the curb and I come pick it up and make a couple hundred off your garbage after the repairs.

i had one of them in the mid eighties that ended up with six 357 hollow points in it. so it did have a leak then.
