Introduction

I wanted to say hello and introduce myself to the forum.
I found this site a few days ago and have been reading all I can.

As you may have guessed from my name I'm new to appliance repair.
I know the basics like how to use a multimeter and such but can't say I have much experience.
I work for a furniture store that just started selling appliance about a year ago.
My boss had me take a online training coarse and now I'm the appliance repair guy.

I really feel lost most of the time trying to figure this stuff out and often guess by replacing parts.
Seems like every repair I go on is new to me and It's like starting from scratch trying to find the problem.

So I hope to keep reading the forums and learn all I can from you guys, thanks for the information and service manuals I have downloads.

You found the right forum and welcome. What brand of appliances does your store sell? I worked for a furniture store myself.

The best out there. Back in the 70's I worked for Loop Appliance. They sold Whirlpool and Kelvinator.

No brainer LG AKA Goldstar followed by a close second is the equally screwy GE although I want to werk with GE cause they put my Brazos peeps to werk
