GE Dishwasher Soap Dispenser Does Not Always Work.

The soap dispenser works intermittently.
If it has to be replaced, how do you remove it from the door?

I downloaded the service manual, but don't' see anything in it about the soap dispenser.
Maybe I need some more coffee?

How should that red thing on the back check with my meter?

You are not blind. The detergent dispenser is not covered in this Tech Sheet.
The red thing is a wax motor and is most likely the problem part. I do not know if this wax motor is available as a separate part.
I will keep checking and get back to you. Some of the other techs' may have some input here regarding the wax motor availability.
If you could provide a part number from the red part it would be helpful.

You forgot to add the AP in front of the AppliancePartsPros number and that maybe why she had trouble with it.
