I watched the video, seems theirs just fell in there. Anyway I got mine in there and it works. Seems quieter now than when it was new but then I was used to it screaming. The only thing, the first fill it had air in the pump. Then I thought it was probably because it was empty so I added a quart or so and it stopped making the noise. Then on the next fill it did the same thing again. I did have to disconnect the fill line to change it out but I didnt see anything that looked like trash. I have a 1/2" copper line going to it. Do you think the new pump has to have more water? I never had trouble with that before unless I used a detergent that foamed too much and you could hear it pumping air. I sure hate to have to pull that thing back out. Do you think it needs a new valve or can this one be cleaned out--like a washer hose screen??
