Kenmore touch pad non responsive - lights off

Hi I have a Kenmore 66513749K603 dishwasher which has finally died.  The touch pad is totally non-responsive - no lights nothing happens.  I am assuming that it's the electronic control board.  If so where can I find diagrams on how to install it?

I would first make sure the dishwasher is getting power. Check the house breaker and then check the dishwasher junction box were the power cord connects to the dishwasher. Sometimes the wire nuts come loose.

Also check the thermal fuse that is located on the control board.

It is getting power, nuts/bolts are fine, junction box is fine.  I already had a service person in who said it is the board but they were back ordered (plus other problems) so I ordered one myself.  When it comes I would like to be able to install it myself.

Disconnect the power, open the door and remove the screws around the door liner. The control board is located behind the panel the buttons are on. Unplug the old board and plug the new one in, not much to it. Let us know if that fixes it.

Hi Again:

The control board came, we installed it with ease, closed the dishwasher - it began making low noise as if beginning a cycle and I assumed it was re-calibrating - but the lights never came on and it stopped after about 2 minutes.  Now we have a new board, no lights on the controls and nothing happens when we push any button.  Any thoughts?
