LG dishwasher ldf6810bb not cleaning

Whenever I open the door after the dishwasher has been run, it is not overly warm.  There are water droplets inside the top and on the door.  The dishes are not clean and there is a soap residue running down the door coming out of the dispenser.  I assumed the heating element was going bad, but opened the door panel and took a resistance reading and found it to be 10.5 ohms, which I read was a good number.  There is no water left in the bottom of the sump and I didn't find any broken wires in the door.  Can anybody help me?

Make sure that when you're using the dishwasher, you prime the hot water line to make sure there is hot water at the faucet before running the dishwasher. 

Check to make sure that the filter screen is clean.  You may have to remove the top portion of the sump assembly to check the impeller for any debris that may have gotten caught inside.  If everything looks good, you probably have a bad sump motor that's not spinning at the proper speed and will need to be replaced.  I recommend replacing the entire sump assembly.  The part number is 3485ED1002B.

I have had this dishwasher in for about 3 years.  I had to replace the motor once because it was locking up, bearings going out in it.  I did try the priming the hot water line and it had no effect.  The impeller looked good and the screen had a little bit of debris in it but not at all plugged.  I hate to order the sump assembly unless you are pretty confident that is what the problem is.  I do appreciate the input.

The serial number is 706KWCF00483.  Does this change anything or is it still the same sump assembly?

NOTE: An all new LG dishwasher is being (or in the process of being) released shortly.
          This all new model will be entirely different than any LG model before it.
 
Having said that---all current LG dishwasher SUMP ASSYs are interchangeable.
 
The *only* SUMP ASSY that should be used (regardless of serial number) is:
 
AJH31248604
 
If an older part number is still *floating around* in some parts-jobber's stock---it should *not* be used.
 
This includes:
 
6871DD1002B or 3485ED1002B
 
The upgraded SUMP ASSY (AJH31248604) corrects the problem of failing WASH MOTORS.
 
The *only* difference of note---is that the TURBIDITY SENSOR* on the newer SUMP ASSY has been relocated.
To *reach* the sensor (plug)---simply untape the wires from the harness and re-rout the plug to the relocated sensor.
 
If you're looking to further improve wash results---consistently---simply leave the TURBIDITY SENSOR unplugged (leave the plug where it is).
 
No error message will be displayed.
 
All cycles will run their normally alotted run times---rather than be prematurely terminated at an earlier time due to the sensor data feedback (information) to the MAIN BOARD.
 
In other words---the TURBIDITY SENSOR allows for *reducing* the overall run-time of a chosen cycle---in a rather aggressive profile to conserve energy.
 
Who wants occassional incomplete wash results---while conserving a statistically-insignificant amount of water & electric?

Thanks guys.  I replaced the sump assembly with the newer one and left the turbidity sensor disconnected, and everything worked as it should.  I really appreciate the help.
