What I did to repair a dead Sears 110.68522700 dryer.

This Sears 110.68522700 dryer would not start.


The customer already had the dryer unplugged, pulled out from the wall and removed the back panel.
All the hard work had already been done for me.


I did a quick check of the thermal fuse located on the back of the dryer with my ohm meter and found that it was bad.


I replaced the thermal fuse with a new one, part # 3392519. I also checked the dryer vent and blower housing for lint build up, it was pretty clean.


After putting everything back together and setting the dryer back in place I tried the dryer and it worked great!
