How I fixed a Whirlpool LEQ9030PQ1 dryer that was not heating.

This Whirlpool LEQ9030PQ1 dryer would run, but not heat.


After checking the dryer to make sure it was getting the correct voltage I unplugged it and pulled it out from the wall so I could remove the back of the dryer.


After removing the back of the dryer I removed the wires from the heating element and checked the heating element with my ohm meter.


The heating element checked bad with my meter so I replaced the heating element with a new one, part # 279838
