ED2FHEXNQ00 Whirlpool side by side refrigerator not cooling

This call was on a Whirlpool ED2FHEXNQ00 refrigerator that was reported to be about 7-8 years old. The refrigerator was not cooling at all.

I could hear the start relay device on the compressor clicking on and off every few seconds.

I replaced the start relay device with a new one, and then the refrigerator worked like it should.
