You could try to find a donor that had a lightning strike (or the F1 error, and the customer didn't get the machine/control module replaced); if it's a 'Cabrio', it's the same part number. IMHO the bearing failure is relatively rare, based on the number of machines around here. Usually the machine's been leaking for a while before the bearing fails. We periodically see Whirlpool 'roll' and pay for the tub/shaft assy (even today!) Are you the original owner? If not try to have them call WPL to complain... (Whirlpool is working pretty hard to re-secure owner loyalty.)
