I set the stove for 350f it stays at 350f for around 10 secs and goes to 1 00
What is that? A bad control? The sensor reads 1050 and is not shorted.
The ignitor comes on. Have yet to check amp draw.

It's normal. It will display the set temperature and then show 100° or the actual temperature, whichever is higher.
