That reminds me of a story: The electric bill got over $100 a month and we are on budget plan which means they divide our power bill up for the whole year into 12 segments so that we don't have to pay 2 and 300 bills in summer when we have to keep the ac going. So I made a suggestion: hang the clothes out to save a little bit on the electric bill. So we bought a line and a pins and she begrudgingly hung out the clothes. I looked outside and asked her where the clothes? Are they dry now? Oh yes they are dry and in the dryer. In the dryer you say? Yup. Need to be fluffed up. You can't win.

worked this joke in on a sevice call the other day...and brought the customer to a full out laugh...even while she was writing the check...

Told the customer that when the washer breaks down, she can have her kids wash the laundry in the pool and hang them to dry over the tennis court nets.  That will save on her bills.
