Frigidaire Stove Model # S396SHD-1

Just wondering if anyone knows how the self cleaning oven system works on this model stove. I don't recognize any of the buttons.

Yes it is Canadian. I don't recognize any of the labels on the keypad. If I can figure out how to do it, I could take a picture and upload it to this forum if that can be done.

You can add your photos as a attachment. You should see the option to add a attachment under the text box that you type a post in when you are starting a new topic or posting a reply.

Does it have a latch assembly on it above the oven door? Or sticking out of the oven cavity at the top?The clock doesn't look like it has a self clean on it.

Yes, it has a hook on the top inside of the door and and a corresponding hole in the door.  One of the knobs has a symbol of a padlock on it. I have tried everything for this lady to get the oven to go into the self clean mode but again not sure of the sequence of buttons to use.

It looks a lot like a heartland range control.. I should have a service manual for one of them . I will send it to AJ.

Thanks for everyone's help with this. Although the stove is nothing like the Heartland the buttons are all the same except for the starburst button that says Self Clean but now I got the Self Clean to work and the lady is so happy.
