Jenn Air S136 Gas range noise

We have a Jenn Air model s136 gas range that is making a clicking noise about an hour after it has been used. The noise comes and goes no real pattern to it. Has anyone ever encountered this before? Thanks, Jim

Well I have a little more info on this vague problem. This range is at my inlaws house and it started doing this after the oven was cleaned the last time. I am beginning to think it may have something to do with the solenoid that locks the door during the cleaning cycle. i am trying to figure out where it is coming from but when you notice the sound it has quit by the time you get to it! Does this sound possible to anyone?

There is a possibility it is expansion and contraction from cooling down. If it happens when the oven has not been used or well after it has been used then another source is responsible.

Tell em never to use self clean. That ain't nothing but a costly headache.

No I think it is something entirely different. It happens even after the range has been sitting idle for quite a while.
