Does it stilll trip the House Breaker ?

yes.  Also the next step on the flow chart asks you to direct test the compressor.

It trips there as well.

are you saying it still trips the House Breaker when  the Compressor Start relay is removed ?

I have a direct compressor start device made by robinair after i check for short or ground circuit i remove old relay to see if the compressor starts.If it does then i use a amprobe to see what the amps are.If it does not start then compressor is bad .I been using this start device that i got from G.E 30 years ago  when i work for them to start compressors .I do not think they make them any more, but what a useful device.Put as stated in forms above .You should never use or what to see a refrigerator on a G.F.I circuit.
