Whirlpool/Kenmore Electric dryer top thermal fuse blow/wire burnt

Weird. I wonder if maybe that is not the correct limit for that machine? Obviously been overheating. I bet whoever had that dryer has a partially blocked vent causing the 250 f limit to constantly trip and reset.  I bet them clothes are wrinkled as hell and charbroiled.

I see it often on the bottom high limit thermostat, but I don't think I have ever seen a burnt connection like that on the top thermo fuse.

Wrong thermostat that is rated at 250. Needs a 352.

352 would be too high. My opinion. That could cause them wires to be burnt like that. The smaller one in the kit is rated @ 300f.

I meant the fuse is rated for 250 and should be 352. The thermostat kit has a thermostat rated for 250 and a thermal fuse for 352. I can get the FSP pn off the packeg in a bit.
