If that is agitating while spinning the tranny needs to be rebuilt.

Dawgs are the least of my worries. I'm thinking the tranny is thrashed. No it wasn't agitating while spinning but that's what I was looking for. That's the sign of a garbage gearbox  ;D  I think I have a spare somewhere if it is. I kmow I have plenty that need rebuilt.

Update. The washer is back running. There was ANOTHER loose screw in this one. What are the chances of that happening to two machines within a few days apart? It also damaged the inner tub enough that I felt it needed replaced (see picture). I had to do a complete teardown on this one. I also replaced the clutch. The tub seal is dripping a little so that is next. Other than that I did laundry in it tonight. O0

When I find screws like that in someones washer sometimes it funny to hand it to them and tell them they may want to keep this one.

When they ask why I say, 'cause that screw cost you $100.00, lol...'.  :2funny:

Some people don't find it as funny as I do.
