Frigidaire Electric Range Model# GSE3WZCB Serial# VF34105192. This range is giving an F1 code and beeping. The lady said she tried to do a self clean and after a few minutes it threw the F1. I measured the resistance of the temp probe at the plug on the control and it is 1086 ohms. I also measured the door lock switch and it has continuity. When the breaker is turned back on, no matter which button is pressed the clean light comes on. Press Bake, clean light comes on. Press Clear and Set Clock, the Clean light comes on. When the clean light comes on, the door Locks and then unlocks and then flashes F1 and Beeps. Replace Control Board? Thanks, Bob

Get the old control out and look for corrosion or other reason why it might have failed.

Thanks  JW, so ya think that the control has definitely failed?  I saw on the frigidaire that F1 was a failed control but didn't want to just blindly replace the control. Thanks
