Lg Tromm Dryer model DLE5977W Grinding Sound

Hi all, (my first post) our LG Tromm Dryer DLE5977w has an incredibly loud grinding sound when the drum is spinning. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like something got in through the lint filter screen on to the blower wheel.  Possibly a sock.  You will need to disassemble the dryer to get to the blower fan and remove the debris.

Hi:  While you have the dryer front panel off have a look or feel the front drum rollers.
Lift drum off roller a bit and feel for roughness or loosness between roller and shaft
I have come across these being bad a few times before. If bad you will need to replace the roller and shaft.
