Whirlpool no spin

I have a top load whirlpool washer that will fill agitate then nothing no drain or spin in normal cycle it will  drain and spin in delicate and prem press I can hear timer running lid switch is good  m#LLR8233BW0 is my timer shot?

It could be a bad lid switch... Many of that style of washer will fill and agitate with the lid open. However, none will spin or drain with the lid up.  Here is a link to the lid switch

You should hear a faint click sound when you close the lid, if not I would focus on that... If you do hear the click look at the switch wire connections.

  I agree on the bad timer. If it was a bad lid switch, it wouldn't drain/spin in perm press and delicate cycles.
