Admiral Dryer ADE7005AYW hit and miss problem--desperate for help.

I have had this dryer for a few years. Two days ago an intermitent problem developed. The dryer will power on (inside light), start, heat, tumble, and buzz off 50% of the time. 10% of the time it is completely dead except for the interior light. The rest of the time, it will power on, tumble,  and heat for different amounts of time up to 20 minutes. Sometimes it only runs for about one minute. I replaced the timer today and it didn't solve the problem. The dryer is currently running and has been for 10 minutes. At first, it came on for one minute then it wouldn't do anything.
I do not think it is the thermal fuse as it will work fine part of the time. I know it is an older dryer but my husband was in an accident and broke his back. We simply cannot afford to replace the dryer right now. Please help me figure this out. I can install the part but I don't want to spend a lot of money on fact finding missions.

Check the front and back of the motor and make sure its not full of lint .Vac out that area or blow with compressed air .Your motor may be overheating and tripping out thermally.Make sure before you attempt this that you turn the power off.

Un-plug Dryer from Wall Outlet.
Check / inspect / tighten the Nuts on the Dryer Power Cord terminal Strip
