GE Washing machine water temp switch Model #WBB2090G3WW

Picked up this washer for $20 today cause it needed repair. Timer knob was stripped, and the temp switch needed replaced. No big deal cause I have lots of dead GE washers around here for parts right? Wrong! When I took the control panel apart I saw the switch laying inside, almost grounding out against the frame. The switch looked fine, not stripped or anything. As I looked further the cheap plastic clips that are part of the control panel were broke off, and there was know way of fixing it without ordering the whole panel. Then I noticed there was an extra mount next to it without the hole from the factory. So I got my drill out and made my own hole  . On to the next issue of replacing the timer knob, which was easy. I was the left with an unmarked knob/switch on the control panel, and a hole where the old one used to be. I thought about putting one of my kids smiley face stickers on it to cover the hole but that would only last so long. I grabbed the broken timer knob and used it to fill the hole, and it actually looks like its supposed to be there! LOL! Check out the pics!

Yeah I seen that before. Larry says he lays the switch back in place and glues it with Gorilla.
