Magic Chef by Maytag - oil leak

I have a Magic Chef / Maytag washer and it seems to be leaking oil from the bottom seal in the transmission, directly above the drive pulley.  How difficult is this to repair?  This machine has one belt to drive the pump and the transmission (I know some Maytags use two belts).

Single belt washer de-mystified

This washer's tranny is bad and it also was leaking through the tub seal. To replace the various parts I recommend you mark each piece because the tub has to go back into the case a certain way for the hoses to fit right. Once the 6 springs are removed and the hoses are removed the tub assembly comes out of the washer fairly easy. Single belt service manual
