I don't think that will work with this one. The control panel is located at the base of the dryer, not the top. I can see 2 screws at the base of the dryers front panel, behind the control panel. It appears to me that the control panel needs to be removed, then the 2 screws, and then I think the panel can be swung out and off.
The problem is what is locking the panel on?. It appears to have 2 spring loaded screws beneath it but I'm not sure if they should be released all the way.
