Something in the blower housing I bet ya. Get that blower out and get that metal object out from bihnd it. Might be from a woman's undergarment. Curved wire thing. On a GE dryer you just bacl off a screw and the clamp comes off then the blower slides out pretty easy. Nothing to it. get the front panel off.
I got into the blower housing and even removed the motor... no loose pieces of metal or plastic anywhere. However, the blower fastener had come loose again (I attached a picture of the fastener to make sure I'm calling it by the right name). I tightened this back up and the initial sound has stopped. I'm going to keep an eye out on it to see if it loosens itself again. If it does, I guess I'll have to purchase this part.
The dryer sounds a lot better but I now have a new sound. This sound is more like a bird chirp and it seems to coincide with 1 revolution of the drum.
Here is this sound... name that tune: www.jaustin.com/sounds/ge-dryer-sound2.wav
I appreciate the help Danny.
