Working on a Sears Kenmore Elite Calypso Washing and the machine will not allow me to go into diagnostic mode ?? Machine will start momentarily but comes up with a CE (Communications Error). I tried to run diagnostic mode with the Tech sheet located in the front panel but no luck, anybody have this issue ?

The pump and motor have a quick connect at the base of the frame. The connection might be corroded. Or it might have even vibrated off. Take the symbol off the front. Under it is a screw. Remove that screw and move the top forward one inch. You can lift it up and get to the screws that hold the front on. At the base of the washer is clips just like a whirlpool dryer,lift up and remove the front. The tub is suspended on four rods.
