Series 800 top load washer

I'm the third tech out on a kenmore series 800 top load.  Problem is, it Does not fill, it goes straight to agitate. First tech replaced the timer. Second replaced the pressure switch. I'm not throwing another part on it till I'm sure. I would love the service literature for this one also. None of the lit I can find has the same pressure switch in it.  Going to bed now. If series 800 is not enough info I'll find the model in the morning. It's raining and I don't have shoes on. Lol. Maybe the appliance fairy will come while I'm sleeping,with a nice neat little answer (other then a faulty new pressure switch). Night all and Ty.

This is a direct drive washer. Pretty simple design. Must be a shorted wire to frame. Check each leg of the power cord to the frame and take components away one at a time till you figure out which wires are suspect.

Second replaced the pressure switch.

usually a bad Pressure Switch ..
if he used the corect one .. manufacturer has replaced part number W10177795 with part number W10292584

I checked and he did use the correct one. I found the tech sheet on that pressure switch and it tested good.
What else other that the timer and the pressure switch could it possibly be?

Try pulling the hose off the pressure switch while the machine is agitating,if it stop and start to fill then you can go from there,maybe the other tech put the new pressure switch on and did not put the machine into spin cycle first, before he tied to test new switch. after you replace with new pressure switch, you should put the machine in the spin cycle. hope this helps.
