Whirlpool Refrigerator Model GI7FVCXWY01 frig not cooling.

I have a Whirlpool bottom freezer, top refrigerator that will cool to 35 degrees for several days, then warm to 50 degree for about two days, then will cool down to 35 for several days. This continues as if in cycles. Any ideas? thanks

Yes, you're right. It was an I, not a 1. Anyway, it will be 35 degrees for several day, then jump to 50 degrees for 2 days, then back to 35 degrees. and this continues as if in a cycle. 4 previous techs could not figure it out. Thanks,, I will be number 5

Do you know if they replaced any parts in it and if so what ones?

No, I'm sure they did. It was actually the techs from a major seller, and they replaced the unit after going there 4 times, but the Doctor kept the origional unit.

Does anyone have a service manual for this model?

This should be the service manual. Why does he still have the original fridge, shouldn't it have been destroyed when they replaced it?  I wouldn't go back until it warms up again. Then it should be fairly easy to figure out. Check the usual; fans, compressor, air flow, frost pattern.

Hello tgoods, awesome, thanks for the manual, and I will check all the common problems. I was thinking it could be an acd malfunction. But I will feel more confident checking out the flow charts or that is, the troubleshooting section. Again, thanks a million. I don't know how he was able to keep the unit. I didn't ask. If and when I fix, if possible, I will update what I find.
