Kenmore - Whirlpool only fills part way

Hello,

The washer was running for part of a cycle and would stop.  My husband replaced the timer switch.  Now it will only fill part way and then stops.  Is it the water inlet valve?  Could it be blocked or does it need replaced?  We have checked the lid switch and my husband thinks it is working fine.  Model 110.82781100
Please help!!!

Could be your valve,check you hoses and screens first.
