Kenmore Elite Washer 110.2694 - Clothes are very wrinkled when they come out.

Everytime I remove my clothes from this machine (top-loading), the clothes look like rags.  This machine wrings them out too tight.  Any suggestions as to why this is happening.

110.26942500 I would guess? I would check your water inlets hot is on hot and cold is cold....also check that when you have hot selected that you get hot water in the tub.

The complete model # is 110.26942503.  The water hoses are connected correctly.  I never had a problem with my previous kenmore washers but this will be the last one for me.

All appliance have there problems.. kenmore is a marketing name for Sears..All the major brands make appliances for Sears.. Yours is make by Whirlpool. So if you don't want to buy from the company that made your washer then any appliance whirlpool makes would be the names not to buy...Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Gladiator Garage Works, Inglis, Estate, Brastemp, Bauknecht, Consul, Roper and many more that are branded by other companies

I have seen this phenom. You have a bad transmission. It is agitating while spinning. Seen it. Easy fix. Do a tranny inspect to see if the neutral plate screw is gone.

If the neutral plate screw is missing, how would I replace it?  When replaced, should that fix the problem?

I suspect it is a broken screw. Have you inspected it yet?
