Freezer not cooling well and frost building up inside freezer

Looking for some help. The freezer is not cooling well anymore and now Im getting frost build up on the back wall of the freezer. I have had this problem before but frige was under warranty and not sure what they did to fix it. Where can i get access to a service manual?

Frost on the freezer back panel means defrost problem. Take the service panel of there and look fer a broken defrost heater

As JW said, sounds like a defrost problem.

Thanks for the manual. I'll check the defrost element. Also I did have the model number wrong, it is  LRSC26940SB. I'll keep you updated on the results.

Ok, so I got the freezer taken apart. I don't have continuity through the defrost element. I'll have to get one ordered. Is there anything else I should look for while I have it apart? I also noticed that the inside panels appear to be cracked and discolored, almost burnt looking. Should this be addressed or will it be ok. I'll attach some pics of my findings.

I was going to say replace the termination thermostat but this puppy has that electronic mess.

Just thought I would post an update. Got the defrost element changed out and also had to use a hair drier to remove the ice build up. I had a defective ice maker at one point and I'm wondering if that had contributed to the large ice build up. Just wanted to say thanks for the help and the freezer is cooling as it should.

The ice maker is a stand alone item that does its own thing. It has it's own mold  thermostat that starts harvest and it has a switch to add more water to it for the next batch. All it requires is a good water valve and nice temps in the freezer.

I had previously replaced the ice maker because water was spilling all over inside the freezer. I actually  found the fill hose would lift up as water was flowing through it and spray over the ice maker. ice was building up all over the freezer before I fixed that problem. I thought it could be a possibility that there was so much ice in the evaporator.

Yeah I have seen that overflow condition before. It is caused by arcing. The main drive gear has a small copper plate. It works like bumper cars at the fair. As the wheel rolls over the probe, arcing occurs for the 7.5 seconds the valve is activated to fill the ice mold. That dude gets to arcing and instead of 7.5 seconds of water you get 20 seconds worth and that overflow usually drips down into the ice bucket and makes the ice cubes stick together.
