Replaced Pump/Mtr Assembly. Now no Water

Just replaced the pump and motor assembly on a Kenmore dishwasher.  Now, I am not getting any water into the machine.  Any thoughts on what I did wrong, what the problem is and how to fix.  Thanks for any help.  Bill
