Maytag wall oven

My oven will not stay lit.    I replaced the sensor, but still have the same problem.    It does go on for a while but not very long.   Is it the electronic control ?   If so, please provide part no.

Please post the full model number that is listed on the model/serial number tag that is located on the oven.

Probably your ignitor, 12400035. Need a clamp on ammeter to check, should be pulling at least 3.2 amps.

Looked over the entire oven, but no sign of any serial no. etc.   Perhaps you have to pull the oven out of the wall to see it ?

I agree with tgoods, probably the ignitor. The model number you listed looked incomplete like you got it from the owners manual instead of the oven itself so I asked you to post the full model number from the tag on the oven.

You do not need to pull the oven out of the wall to see the tag, it could be missing.

It could also be along the edge of were the door hinges making it hard to see.

In any case it looks like tgoods listed the correct ignitor for your oven.
