seal on heating element

is the seal on the heating element ofr this washer no good after it is removed from drum? replaced rear outer drum and had ro remove heating element to seperate drums, cannot get it to seal for the life of me, any suggestions? or replace the element?

The rubber seal should still be good.  Maker sure that you push the element assembly all the way in and that element sits in the metal bracket inside the tub properly.  Then with an 10mm socket, you should be able to tighten down on the rubber seal.  DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!!!!
