electronic Stove timer

Hi:
Dose anyone know if there is a mode on a timer that the clock disappears after a few seconds.
Everything works perfect, keeps correct time, sets temp. in the oven, oven works perfect,
there is absolutely nothing wrong with this timer just the clock goes blank after a few seconds.
if you make any adjustments it reapears to see the changes then gone again.
I think there is a combination of buttons to push to change this but not sure if this is true or which ones.
any help would be appreciated

I have a mod # C970-604122 so this was made by Frigidaire.
How do you enter or exit sabbath mode so I can check this out
