LG French door blown fuse on the board

LG French door Totally Dead ... had power to the board and a blown 15amp fuse on the board..checked the compressor pins to ground......no short check all high voltage lines to ground on short.. Jump out inthe fuse... unit came to life...ran for 15 minutes...just fine...

Anything I should check before I put in the new board??

I soldered this fuse holder onto an LG board back in September.  Fridge is still going strong.

put a new board in the LG today it started right up and working... Now I will solder a new fuse in the old board ... I can use it as a test board...

Uhhhhh!!!  I don't think you could use the old board for all LG french door style refrigerators.  Mostly because of programs and wire connectors.  Best to create a temporary fuse set up where you could just snap on top of the old blown fuse to check the refrigerator for operation like what I have pictured.  The purple wire tie serves to hold the 2 fuse holders together and acts as a handle to pull the fuse holder out when I'm done testing.

Or you could just use alligator clips and connect them to a inline fuse holders as well.
